Originally opened in 1905, Ben F. Chan purchased a restaurant in 1965 and changed the name to Chan's Fine Oriental Dining. In 1986 it was enlarged and is now known for its live jazz and blues performances, This legendary spot in Woonsocket RI has a wide-ranging Chinese menu – in addition to hosting Dizzy Gillespie and many other local and internationally known musicians.
